Our History
The development of our extensive capabilities in the construction industry has a long history dating back to 1970, when Aníbal Santos and his sons Carlos, Ricardo and Roberto, together with Valdomero Velasco founded Constructora Aníbal Santos e Hijos S.A. in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
It was their perseverance and the love to work that laid the foundations for the execution of our operations in the various construction markets in which we collaborate today.
Since that time, the permanent trust that these mentors placed in the skills and abilities of their employees has been transmitted throughout the years, strengthening our capacity to build and execute national and Latin American projects.
Gentrack was born with the vision of being part of the technological innovation in construction, using state-of-the-art tools, maintaining the legacy and values of our origin.

2017
Masteri-Gentrack S.A. begins operations in the city of Samborondón, Ecuador
2018
Gentrack received it’s first international contract to inspect catastrophic damage and repair assessment of a cogeneration power plant.
20199
Gentrack receives second international contract for the provision of commissioning and start-up services for the start-up of the 350 MW CPSA San Lorenzo Cogeneration Power Plant, Argentina
2019
Gentrack is awarded as general contractor in the execution of an ecological resort in San Cristóbal Island, Galapagos, Ecuador (project halted due to pandemic) Project halted due to pandemic.
2020
Gentrack is selected as the Project PMO and Owners Engineer Responsibility during construction of an industrial expansion facilities near the estuaries of Guayaquil Including the construction of a new 6M Lbs shrimp cold storage facility, new 10 mVA Substation, new Residual Water Treatment Plant and access and parking infrastructure for a major fishery and packaging industrial complex.
2021
PROENERGY LLC. Proenergy LLC. Contracts Gentrack for specialized disassembly services for (4) x GE LM6000 GT (turbines, generators and major accessories).
2022
• Ecuasal: value engineering and constructability consultancy for the new Pacoa Salt Refinery Project.
